*There are no current or presumptive cases of COVID-19 within the Alpha community at this time*
Update from Alpha International Academy Executive Office.
We appreciate the attention and the seriousness of the situation being shown within our college from our students and colleagues and we wanted to thank everyone for their consideration.
While the risk to our community remains low and there are no active cases within our college, Alpha International Academy will suspend in-person classes from Saturday March 14 to Tuesday March 17th. We will be moving to alternate program delivery after this suspension.
Please note that the college campus and services will remain open during this time. However, there will be no activities for our students, such as exams, quizzes or assignments. Cancelling in-person classes is a measure we are taking to increase social distancing and possible spread of infection.
Following the 3-day suspension of classes, we will be moving to an alternate program delivery of online classes, lectures, and testing from Wednesday March 18th until further notice. Details about placements and computer lab classes for practical instruction will be shared in the coming days and we request that you monitor your emails frequently for updates. Please be advised that it will be mandatory to attend these online lectures as attendance will be taken.
If you have issues receiving emails or having difficulties logging into your E-learning account, please contact our Front Desk team at 416 640 0161 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be updating the Alpha COVID-19 Resource Center as new developments emerge. We strongly encourage our students to assist in preventing the spread of infection by practicing proper handwashing, cough etiquette, and staying home if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms.
